Genesis Chapter 3 — The Fall: Agency, Opposition, and the Promise of Redemption Through Christ

Today we come to one of the most significant chapters in all of scripture—Genesis chapter 3.

This chapter tells of Adam and Eve’s choice in the Garden of Eden, the entrance of mortality into the world, and the unfolding of Heavenly Father’s plan of salvation through Jesus Christ.

Genesis Chapter 2— The Garden of Eden: Covenants, Agency, and God’s Purpose for His Children

Today we continue our journey through the book of Genesis as we study chapter 2.

In this chapter, we are given a more personal look at the Creation. We learn about the Garden of Eden, the creation of Adam and Eve, the Sabbath day, and God’s loving plan for His children.

Today we begin at the very beginning—the opening chapter of the Bible.

Genesis chapter 1 teaches us about the Creation of the earth, but it teaches us something even greater: it reveals the character of our Heavenly Father and reminds us that we are part of His divine plan.
